The government of Somaliland said that the warships of Turkey cannot come to the coast of Somaliland.

 

Hargeisa (SGN) - Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of JSL Dr.  Isse Keyd Mohamud, said that Turkish warships cannot come to the coast of Somaliland. 

Minister Ise Keyd stated that they told Turkey that they cannot enter Somaliland's shores. 

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Somaliland noted that Turkey knows that the Republic of Somaliland controls its coast and Somalia does not rule. 

Minister Issa Keyd said this in an interview he gave to the Somali branch of the BBC and asked how he sees the defense agreement signed between Turkey and the non-self-governing government of Somalia.  .
