Muqdisho ( SGN) Discussions on enhancing bilateral ties were at the forefront of a recent meeting in Somalia, where Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre of the Federal Republic of Somalia welcomed China's Special Envoy to the Horn of Africa, Ambassador Xue Bing, to his office.
During this engagement, both parties explored ways to fortify the cooperation and partnership between their respective nations.
Prime Minister Hamsa expressed his gratitude towards the Chinese government for its multifaceted support to Somalia. He highlighted the considerable progress Somalia has achieved historically and pointed out the country is on the cusp of undergoing transformative economic and social reforms.
Ambassador Bing reaffirmed China's commitment to Somalia, emphasizing their continued support and solidarity in the times ahead.
