Prime Minister Hamsa Abdi Barre of the Federal Republic of Somalia commenced the annual gathering of the Heritage Institute in Djibouti. This year's focus was on fostering a culture of peace in the Horn region, particularly within communities like the Somali populace.
In his extensive address, the Prime Minister emphasized the significance of peace in unlocking security, economic growth, social progress, and political stability. Highlighting the prolonged struggle against threatening terrorist groups, he underscored peace as a fundamental pursuit both domestically and globally.
Hamsa reiterated that achieving peace was a cornerstone of Somalia's National Government program, "Somalia: Engaging Harmoniously with the World." Grateful for Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh's support and commending the Heritage Institute for uniting numerous Somalis worldwide, the Prime Minister concluded his speech. This marks a dedicated step towards peace through collaboration and shared efforts.
